A Pella, Iowa native, Makayla Thompson found there is a community for everyone right here in Omaha.
“UNO has allowed me to find pockets of community, whether that was in the engineering student organizations, college bible studies with Salt Company, or dorm life within the Scott Scholar community,” she said.
